I get home, open my cupboard and I get dizzy from seeing all those clothes. After having lived for four months with one suitcase, I wonder: what do I need so many clothes for?
We go for dinner, choose the cheapest dishes on the menu and we pay 13Eur for it, which is the amount we spent per day/pers during our trip. We buy some milk, bread and coffee for breakfast: 5Eur! How expensive is everything here!
Instead of taking a shower, I fill the bath tub and have a hot relaxing bath. Hey, life can be wonderful!
I hear my Dad´s and my sister´s voice on the phone and I am so glad to hear them and think how much I love them and I should tell them that, even if they already know.
I hug my friends, they tell me their summer stories and I realize how much I´ve missed them. I tell them things of our trip and I think: Waw! What an adventure! How surreal! Was I the lucky bastard to have had this experience?
Everyone seems to be glad I´m back and that is a lovely feeling. Thanks for making me feel that way.
As some of you already know, Lluís and I decided to break up on a sunny (only literally) morning in Hanoi. Still, we wanted to continue travelling together. It is a cliché, but true, that any journey is a test for the relationship, and ours didn´t pass. What did pass the test with flying colours, are our friendship and mutual respect. And that´s a great deal, isn´t it?Thanks for reading us, sending us messages or just thinking about us.
Big kiss to you all!
Sandra
